Emollin is a spray, which makes it quick and convenient to use. This makes it easy to reach hard-to-reach areas such as the back. You can use Emollin at any angle, even upside down.
Hygienic: the spray formulation prevents bacteria from contaminating the bottle and the hands-free use prevents cross contamination of eczema skin with infections.
No need to rub in, allowing painless application for tender skin.
Soothing: many people find the spray application soothing.
The ease of application allows children to apply themselves as they grow, even while at school.
This spray contains no fragrances, preservatives or colourings, so it is unlikely to cause an allergic reaction (contact allergy) to the skin.
The main ingredient is paraffin. Paraffin is useful in eczema, as paraffin is not an allergic material.

Use of moisturisers in the bath can or shower be a slip hazard
Moisturisers are flammable. Over long periods moisturisers can build-up on fabric (clothing, bedding etc), making these materials flammable. Washing clothing and bedding may reduce this build-up but not totally remove it.

White Soft Paraffin BP, Light BP, Hexamethyldisiloxane (evaporating silicone.)

1. For best application, spray Emollin from a distance of 15cm from the skin, in a thin unbroken layer.

2. No need to rub in, ideal for tender skin, reducing the risk of cross infection.

3. Apply as often as required, ideal for post bathing and night time moisturisation.

4. If applying in a bathroom with a hard floor, putting a towel down will prevent the floor from becoming slippery.
