Product Description
Oilatum Plus Antiseptic Emollient Bath Additive, 500 ml
Why We Chose This Product
- Oilatum plus is an antiseptic solution that you add to the bath.
- Oilatum plus also contains the antiseptic ingredients triclosan and benzalkonium chloride. These helps remove bacteria from the skin and prevent skin infections in eczema. A study showed that these can reduce the amount of a bad baceteria called S. aureus on the skin.
- It also contains moisturisers that add extra moisture to the skin.
- Oilatum plus can also be used for people with eczema who haven't had skin infections (as all people with eczema are at risk of skin infections).
- This product contains no fragrances or colourings, so it is less likely to cause an allergic reaction (contact allergy) to the skin.
-
Suitable for adults, children and babies over 6 months old
Cautions
- Use of bath oils can be a slip hazard
- Oilatum plus contains paraffin which is flammable.
- Oilatum plus does contain some preservatives so there is a small risk of allergic reaction. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed.
- Oilatum plus contains benzalkonium chloride and detergents so it can sometimes irritate the skin.
- Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
